The One Condition for Noah's parents to host the non-school sponsored party

The one and only condition to Noah's parents hosting the non-school sponsored party at their house is that all students must help cleanup the house before leaving in the morning. To make sure this gets done, Noah's mom is looking for 4 student volunteers to help coordinate the cleanup. Look for a volunteer sign up for Noah's house morning clean up crew by your sign-in sheet near the dressing rooms.   Here are the deets: WHO:  4 student volunteers who will be staying the whole night at Noah's  WHAT'S THE JOB:  coordinate the cleanup of Noah's house and make sure all the food is put away.  You're in charge of getting everyone who spent the night to help cleanup.  If everyone pitches in, it will only take 15 min.  WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOU VOLUNTEER:   Make sure you are indeed spending the entire night at Noah's.  Then, please run this idea by your parents before committing to help. If you have any questions, ask No...

NOTES from Wednesday Rehearsal

From Mr. Peerenboom: Into the Woods: March 7 Act 1 Prologue: all in all sounding good, but check your notes  Baker and wife: review the “the spell is on my house” section Baker: much better with your reaction to the cloak  Wolf/Little Red: better but we can still position the wolf so that it’s even more believable that the people are going into/coming out of his stomach Bakers Wife: you don’t have to wait until you’ve completely parked the cow before you ask Cinderella she’s OK Baker’s wife: go after Cinderella a little bit more so you have more stage to cross to catch the cow. Tonight it looks like there’s no way you wouldn’t of been able to catch the cow. First midnight people: make sure you’re articulating your lines. Rapunzel ‘s prince: reminder— don’t scoop down on “agony”. You consistently let it slide down in pitch. Witch and Rapunzel : you should end “stay with me” by the witch holding her daughter. Witch: wait for your reveal until just before the end of...

Crew: make sure the green fabric isn’t folded it up so that when it falls it looks like a dress. Jack: You need to come on a little bit sooner for the Cow as white as milk. Baker: be more excited to see little red as you are looking to steal her cape Little red and Wolf: work on the wolf eating you as it still looks like she’s basically jumping into the bed Granny: articulate more Jack: review your notes for Giants in the Sky. You weren’t hitting some of the high ones. ALL: pick up your cues Mr. Kays: Did the prince’s fanfare come in too soon? C’s prince: review your lines prior to Agony. The cast and crew list of names on the Auditorium door shows how names will appear in the playbill for Into the Woods, and on the custom designed t-shirt for the show.  Unless you edit your name, that's how it's going down in history.   So .....Check the spelling of your name!!!  Is it correct and exactly what you want?   If you need to edit, please write LEGIBLY by your name.   Due NOW.  (Do it now!) Thanks!

Rehearsals, Costumes, & Vocals Info

Per Mr. Peerenboom: Wednesday our costumer, MaryChris, will be in to measure all actors during the rehearsal time.  Make sure you find her and are measured. Tuesday and Wednesday we'll be blocking Act 1.  Thursday and Friday we'll be blocking Act 2. The Three Little Pigs and Sleeping Beauty are not called for any blocking, as we can quickly teach that movement when we first run the acts. My goal will be to get a framework established on the first day of blocking for the act, and then refine that blocking on the second day. Mrs. Riffel will be available for students to sign up to work with her.  Any cast members feeling they would like/benefit from some one-on-one time with her should sign up for time.

1/8/18 Vocal Rehearsal Schedule

Monday (Mrs. Riffel not there) Notes:  Being on time is VERY important on Monday, as well as not going over the alloted amount of time for each song/slot.  Pay very close attention to where you are supposed to be at what time as the schedule is more intricate and spread out.   I will miss you, but crammed all the piano lessons I teach into one day to be able to be at Lincoln the rest of the afternoons. 8th grade forecasting night begins at 6pm in the Gymnasium and 6:30 in classrooms, so rehearsal will end by around 6:15pm to make sure teachers have enough time to set up without distraction. I am posting this today (Friday) to give you the weekend to prepare for the various coachings you will have on Monday. Listen, rehearse, and make the most of the limited time you have to work on your songs with a coach. Comment below if I double booked anyone and I will try to fix it. Schedule with Debra in the choir room: 3:30-3:50  Act ll Opening, P...
