Into the Woods:  Cast List There will be a “red” and “white” cast, but those divisions have not been finalized.  Nights you do not perform in your named role you will perform in the chorus.  We will discuss this at the cast meeting after school today. Mr. Peerenboom is still missing a few contracts! His decision on who to cast may come down to leaving good choices out of roles simply because you didn't turn in your contracts. With that said, the deadline has been extended to 8:00 AM Friday. See the previous post to download the contracts. From Mr. Peerenboom: EVERYONE who auditioned Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday  is called back on Thursday (3:30-6:00 PM) for acting auditions. Please note that some of you may be released half-way through the process, but still be prepared to stay until 6:00 PM (if needed). Thanks!

From Mr. Peerenboom: Thank you to all who auditioned!  Auditioning can bring up so many feelings—anxiety, fear, excitement—just to name a few.  Thank you for taking the brave step to audition and express interest in being part of this marvelous story. We had nearly 60 people audition, and now we move to call backs.   There are several ways this play might be cast— exactly as it's written, double-casting all roles, double-casting some roles.... and.... having a chorus.  Since this might not have been on some people's radar, we want to be clear that there might be a chorus of other fairy tale characters who sing just as the end of each act.  If this was unclear, and you do not want to be considered for a chorus role, please email Mr. Peerenboom at jpeerenb@pps.net and say "I'm not interested in a chorus role". For those cast in Into The Woods   (cast list will be posted late Thurs. or early Fri.) , you will be able to download a program which will enable you to rehearse with music accompaniment right in your own home. Please follow these instructions: Select either the executable for Mac  or PC Click on "Download" Install the software Launch the software To use, s imply select the song(s) of your choice by using the drop-down menu directly below the "Into The Woods" title at the top left. Use the ▶ and ⬛ buttons to play and stop. For additional help, download the Quick Start Guide  or the more detailed User's Guide . NOTE : If you press play and the song keeps "looping" the first few measures, simply click the "exit vamp" button on the far right of the play tray.
